Storm Number Two

We have so much snow....about 4 feet last week and about 2-3 feet this week.
Here are some photos:

The birdies are hungry.

Poor Buddy and Vernon, they aren't sure what to think of this.

Getting home after the Blizzard

Here are some photos when we finally got home.

The untouched driveway.

The nordic cabin.

Matt driving to make a path.

Luckily our friend Hal could come plow us out. That was awesome.

Vernon rolling around in the snow.

This is what the horse pen looks like...

Blizzard of 2006

Matt and I got stuck at work on Thursday night 12.21.06. Colorado got pounded. We won't be going home until tomorrow night. It looks like we probably got about 40-45 inches of snow at our house. Our wonderful neighbors are feeding the horses and cats while we are stranded. They are amazing! Here are some photos, thursday night when Denver was deserted.

The paper put us up in a hotel for a couple of nights. We got upgraded to a suite.

The Blog is back!

After a four month hiatus, I'm back blogging. I found out in July that we are going to have a baby so I've been a little distracted. All is well, and we will be having a baby boy around April 13th of next year.

Tonight, we are snowbound in Denver in the big holiday blizzard. Our wonderfull neighbors are taking care of our animals. I don't have any photos yet but will post some as soon as we can get home...they are expecting four feet of snow.

We saw some elk at our house for the first time. Here are some photos.
