I'm boycotting Pinball...

He made me really mad this morning. While I was sound asleep he attacked my foot and got his claw stuck in the cuticle of my big toe. Then, he pulls it out tearing the cuticle. Needless to say it hurt so bad I had to get up.

Buddy's feeling much better...his appetite is back! He gets vitamins everyday and he LOVES them.

Sad Weekend

Matt's grandfather passed away on Saturday night. He will be missed. It was a sad day. The whole family was there when he left us.

Buddy Weekend

Sorry I didn't get to post much this weekend. I had to worry about buddy again. He had ANOTHER setback. I went out on Saturday and he had a fever again 103.8. The vet just told me to keep an eye on him and by Sunday he was back down to 100.4. I feel so bad for him. He's been sick for three weeks now. Hopefully, he's gotten through it. I guess with an EPM horse, it takes a lot longer to heal from being sick. It has to do with the damaged neurological pathways make it more difficult.

Buddy Update for the weekend

Buddy is doing better...his mind is ready to go but his body is slow to catch up. He very uncoordinated right now so we have to take it slow so we don't have any more injuries. I was putting him back in his pen today and he got a little excited and came right down with his front hoof, bent backwards. I'm going to let my trainer Sean get him back in shape before I get him out again. I hope we can get back on track this week.

Buddy Update

Last night Buddy's temp was 99.5 and tonight it was 100.9. As long as it stays under 102, he's doing better. He has finally started to eat all of his food. I'm not sure how much he's drinking. Sean will get him out tomorrow and I'll know more tomorrow.
